He cometh forth like a flower, and is cut down: He fleeth also as a shadow, and continueth not.

The fear of Jehovah prolongeth days; But the years of the wicked shall be shortened.
For who knoweth what is good for man in (his) life, all the days of his vain life which he spendeth as a shadow? for who can tell a man what shall be after him under the sun?
Woe unto the wicked! (it shall be) ill (with him); for what his hands have done shall be done unto him.
