If a man shall steal an ox, or a sheep, and kill it, or sell it; he shall restore five oxen for an ox, and four sheep for a sheep. Or all that about which he hath sworn falsely; he shall even restore it in the principal, and shall add the fifth part more thereto, and give it unto him to whom it appertaineth, in the day of his trespass offering. Speak unto the children of Israel, When a man or woman shall commit any sin that men commit, to do a trespass against the LORD, and that person be guilty; Behold, here I am: witness against me before the LORD, and before his anointed: whose ox have I taken? or whose ass have I taken? or whom have I defrauded? whom have I oppressed? or of whose hand have I received any bribe to blind mine eyes therewith? and I will restore it you. And he shall restore the lamb fourfold, because he did this thing, and because he had no pity. He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings. Again, when I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; if he turn from his sin, and do that which is lawful and right; And the soldiers likewise demanded of him, saying, And what shall we do? And he said unto them, Do violence to no man, neither accuse any falsely; and be content with your wages. And when the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her, and said unto her, Weep not.
