A fire goeth before him, And burneth up his adversaries round about.
I, Jehovah, have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thy hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles;
A light for revelation to the Gentiles, and the glory of thy people Israel.
For so hath the Lord commanded us, (saying), I have set thee for a light of the Gentiles, That thou shouldest be for salvation unto the uttermost part of the earth.
how that the Christ must suffer, (and) how that he first by the resurrection of the dead should proclaim light both to the people and to the Gentiles.
