Why sayest thou, O Jacob, and speakest, O Israel, My way is hid from Jehovah, and the justice (due) to me is passed away from my God?
For Jehovah hath called thee as a wife forsaken and grieved in spirit, even a wife of youth, when she is cast off, saith thy God.
Is Ephraim my dear son? is he a darling child? for as often as I speak against him, I do earnestly remember him still: therefore my heart yearneth for him; I will surely have mercy upon him, saith Jehovah.
