Behold, ye are of nothing, and your work is of nought; an abomination is he that chooseth you. Behold, all of them, their works are vanity (and) nought; their molten images are wind and confusion. They shall be turned back, they shall be utterly put to shame, that trust in graven images, that say unto molten images, Ye are our gods. Let all the nations be gathered together, and let the peoples be assembled: who among them can declare this, and show us former things? let them bring their witnesses, that they may be justified; or let them hear, and say, It is truth. He that killeth an ox is as he that slayeth a man; he that sacrificeth a lamb, as he that breaketh a dog's neck; he that offereth an oblation, (as he that offereth) swine's blood; he that burneth frankincense, as he that blesseth an idol. Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations:
