And Terah took Abram his son, and Lot the son of Haran, his son's son, and Sarai his daughter-in-law, his son Abram's wife. And they went forth with them from Ur of the Chaldees, to go into the land of Canaan. And they came unto Haran, and dwelt there.
Now Jehovah said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto the land that I will show thee.
And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make they name great. And be thou a blessing.
And I will bless them that bless thee, and him that curseth thee will I curse. And in thee shall all the families of the earth be blessed.
the angel who hath redeemed me from all evil, bless the lads; and let my name be named on them, and the name of my fathers Abraham and Isaac; and let them grow into a multitude in the midst of the earth.
But thou, Israel, my servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, the seed of Abraham my friend,
(But) Israel shall be saved by Jehovah with an everlasting salvation: ye shall not be put to shame nor confounded world without end.
Fear not; for thou shalt not be ashamed: neither be thou confounded; for thou shalt not be put to shame: for thou shalt forget the shame of thy youth; and the reproach of thy widowhood shalt thou remember no more.
