And they made his grave with the wicked, and with a rich man in his death; although he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth. Which of you convicteth me of sin? If I say truth, why do ye not believe me? Him who knew no sin he made (to be) sin on our behalf; that we might become the righteousness of God in him. And ye know that he was manifested to take away sins; and in him is no sin. He was oppressed, yet when he was afflicted he opened not his mouth; as a lamb that is led to the slaughter, and as a sheep that before its shearers is dumb, so he opened not his mouth. And Jesus, crying with a loud voice, said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said this, he gave up the ghost. The Jews answered and said unto him, Say we not well that thou art a Samaritan, and hast a demon? Jesus answered, I have not a demon; but I honor my Father, and ye dishonor me. But I seek not mine own glory: there is one that seeketh and judgeth. For consider him that hath endured such gainsaying of sinners against himself, that ye wax not weary, fainting in your souls. not rendering evil for evil, or reviling for reviling; but contrariwise blessing; for hereunto were ye called, that ye should inherit a blessing.
