For he is cast into a net by his own feet, and he walketh upon a snare. The gin shall take him by the heel, and the robber shall prevail against him. The snare is laid for him in the ground, and a trap for him in the way. For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning. The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them. When I remember thee upon my bed, and meditate on thee in the night watches. As for the head of those that compass me about, let the mischief of their own lips cover them. Incline not my heart to any evil thing, to practise wicked works with men that work iniquity: and let me not eat of their dainties. Let a cry be heard from their houses, when thou shalt bring a troop suddenly upon them: for they have digged a pit to take me, and hid snares for my feet.
