And I will fetch a morsel of bread, and comfort ye your hearts; after that ye shall pass on: for therefore are ye come to your servant. And they said, So do, as thou hast said. But the olive tree said unto them, Should I leave my fatness, wherewith by me they honour God and man, and go to be promoted over the trees? And the vine said unto them, Should I leave my wine, which cheereth God and man, and go to be promoted over the trees? They cried unto thee, and were delivered: they trusted in thee, and were not confounded. Give strong drink unto him that is ready to perish, and wine unto those that be of heavy hearts. Let him drink, and forget his poverty, and remember his misery no more. A feast is made for laughter, and wine maketh merry: but money answereth all things.
