Woe unto the shepherds that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! saith Jehovah.
Son of man, I have broken the arm of Pharaoh king of Egypt; and, lo, it hath not been bound up, to apply (healing) medicines, to put a bandage to bind it, that it be strong to hold the sword.
Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I am against Pharaoh king of Egypt, and will break his arms, the strong (arm), and that which was broken; and I will cause the sword to fall out of his hand.
Ye eat the fat, and ye clothe you with the wool, ye kill the fatlings; but ye feed not the sheep.
Therefore it shall be night unto you, that ye shall have no vision; and it shall be dark unto you, that ye shall not divine; and the sun shall go down upon the prophets, and the day shall be black over them.
And the seers shall be put to shame, and the diviners confounded; yea, they shall all cover their lips; for there is no answer of God.
He that is a hireling, and not a shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, beholdeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth, and the wolf snatcheth them, and scattereth (them):
