Not that which entereth into the mouth defileth the man; but that which proceedeth out of the mouth, this defileth the man. And the Lord said unto him, Now ye the Pharisees cleanse the outside of the cup and of the platter; but your inward part is full of extortion and wickedness. But give for alms those things which are within; and behold, all things are clean unto you. I know, and am persuaded in the Lord Jesus, that nothing is unclean of itself: save that to him who accounteth anything to be unclean, to him it is unclean. Overthrow not for meat's sake the work of God. All things indeed are clean; howbeit it is evil for that man who eateth with offence. neither to give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questionings, rather than a dispensation of God which is in faith; (so do I now).
