But none saith, Where is God my Maker, Who giveth songs in the night,
Show thy marvellous lovingkindness, O thou that savest by thy right hand them that take refuge (in thee) From those that rise up (against them).
Sing praises unto Jehovah with the harp; With the harp and the voice of melody.
Before Jehovah; For he cometh to judge the earth: He will judge the world with righteousness, And the peoples with equity.
Let them praise thy great and terrible name: Holy is he.
and hast forgotten Jehovah thy Maker, that stretched forth the heavens, and laid the foundations of the earth; and fearest continually all the day because of the fury of the oppressor, when he maketh ready to destroy? and where is the fury of the oppressor?
And when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house (now his windows were open in his chamber toward Jerusalem) and he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime.
