For thou meetest him with the blessings of goodness: Thou settest a crown of fine gold on his head.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: Thou hast anointed my head with oil; My cup runneth over.
Gather not my soul with sinners, Nor my life with men of blood;
But unto the wicked God saith, What hast thou to do to declare my statutes, And that thou hast taken my covenant in thy mouth?
And shall not God avenge his elect, that cry to him day and night, and (yet) he is longsuffering over them?
