Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land which I give you, then shall the land keep a sabbath unto Jehovah.
The land also shall be left by them, and shall enjoy its sabbaths, while it lieth desolate without them: and they shall accept of the punishment of their iniquity; because, even because they rejected mine ordinances, and their soul abhorred my statutes.
to fulfil the word of Jehovah by the mouth of Jeremiah, until the land had enjoyed its sabbaths: (for) as long as it lay desolate it kept sabbath, to fulfil threescore and ten years.
