Destruction and Death say, We have heard a rumor thereof with our ears.
For it is a fire that consumeth unto Destruction, And would root out all mine increase.
Jehovah will perfect that which concerneth me: Thy lovingkindness, O Jehovah, (endureth) for ever; Forsake not the works of thine own hands.
Sheol and Abaddon are before Jehovah: How much more then the hearts of the children of men!
Sheol from beneath is moved for thee to meet thee at thy coming; it stirreth up the dead for thee, even all the chief ones of the earth; it hath raised up from their thrones all the kings of the nations.
And there is no creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and laid open before the eyes of him with whom we have to do.
They have over them as king the angel of the abyss: his name in Hebrew is Abaddon, and in the Greek (tongue) he hath the name Apollyon.
