and they shall be dismayed; pangs and sorrows shall take hold (of them); they shall be in pain as a woman in travail: they shall look in amazement one at another; their faces (shall be) faces of flame.
For I have heard a voice as of a woman in travail, the anguish as of her that bringeth forth her first child, the voice of the daughter of Zion, that gaspeth for breath, that spreadeth her hands, (saying), Woe is me now! for my soul fainteth before the murderers.
What wilt thou say, when he shall set over thee as head those whom thou hast thyself taught to be friends to thee? shall not sorrows take hold of thee, as of a woman in travail?

The king of Babylon hath heard the tidings of them, and his hands wax feeble: anguish hath taken hold of him, (and) pangs as of a woman in travail.
All hands shall be feeble, and all knees shall be weak as water.
And it shall be, when they say unto thee, Wherefore sighest thou? that thou shalt say, Because of the tidings, for it cometh; and every heart shall melt, and all hands shall be feeble, and every spirit shall faint, and all knees shall be weak as water: behold, it cometh, and it shall be done, saith the Lord Jehovah.
