And he set the one in Beth-el, and the other put he in Dan.
But now Jehovah hath spoken, saying, Within three years, as the years of a hireling, the glory of Moab shall be brought into contempt, with all his great multitude; and the remnant shall be very small and of no account.
They shall be put to shame, yea, confounded, all of them; they shall go into confusion together that are makers of idols.
How is it broken down! (how) do they wail! how hath Moab turned the back with shame! so shall Moab become a derision and a terror to all that are round about him.
It also, shall be carried unto Assyria for a present to king Jareb: Ephraim shall receive shame, and Israel shall be ashamed of his own counsel.
