And thou shalt say unto Pharaoh, Thus saith Jehovah, Israel is my son, my first-born: Behold, I will do a new thing; now shall it spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert. They shall not hunger nor thirst; neither shall the heat nor sun smite them: for he that hath mercy on them will lead them, even by springs of water will he guide them. And I will make all my mountains a way, and my highways shall be exalted. But now, O Jehovah, thou art our Father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand. Wilt thou not from this time cry unto me, My Father, thou art the guide of my youth? But I said, How I will put thee among the children, and give thee a pleasant land, a goodly heritage of the hosts of the nations! and I said, Ye shall call me My Father, and shall not turn away from following me. A voice is heard upon the bare heights, the weeping (and) the supplications of the children of Israel; because they have perverted their way, they have forgotten Jehovah their God. In those days, and in that time, saith Jehovah, the children of Israel shall come, they and the children of Judah together; they shall go on their way weeping, and shall seek Jehovah their God. And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplication; and they shall look unto me whom they have pierced; and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his first-born. For ye received not the spirit of bondage again unto fear; but ye received the spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. And will be to you a Father, And ye shall be to me sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
