And they burnt the house of God, and brake down the wall of Jerusalem, and burnt all the palaces thereof with fire, and destroyed all the goodly vessels thereof.
Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, And be filled with their own devices.
Say ye of the righteous, that (it shall be) well (with him); for they shall eat the fruit of their doings.
Woe unto the wicked! (it shall be) ill (with him); for what his hands have done shall be done unto him.
But if ye will not hearken unto me to hallow the sabbath day, and not to bear a burden and enter in at the gates of Jerusalem on the sabbath day; then will I kindle a fire in the gates thereof, and it shall devour the palaces of Jerusalem, and it shall not be quenched.
And I will prepare destroyers against thee, every one with his weapons; and they shall cut down thy choice cedars, and cast them into the fire.
and he burned the house of Jehovah, and the king's house; and all the houses of Jerusalem, even every great house, burned he with fire.
Son of man, set thy face toward the south, and drop (thy word) toward the south, and prophesy against the forest of the field in the South;
And all flesh shall see that I, Jehovah, have kindled it; it shall not be quenched.
