And Jehovah said, My spirit shall not strive with man for ever, for that he also is flesh: yet shall his days be a hundred and twenty years. If he set his heart upon himself, (If) he gather unto himself his spirit and his breath; They have prepared a net for my steps; My soul is bowed down: They have digged a pit before me; They are fallen into the midst thereof themselves. (Selah) For I have eaten ashes like bread, And mingled my drink with weeping, Thus saith God Jehovah, he that created the heavens, and stretched them forth; he that spread abroad the earth and that which cometh out of it; he that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein: For then will I turn to the peoples of a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of Jehovah, to serve him with one consent.
