For Job hath said, I am righteous, And God hath taken away my right: Yea, of a surety, God will not do wickedly, Neither will the Almighty pervert justice. O Jehovah, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things, (even) counsels of old, in faithfulness (and) truth. But I said, I have labored in vain, I have spent my strength for nought and vanity; yet surely the justice (due) to me is with Jehovah, and my recompense with my God. But Zion said, Jehovah hath forsaken me, and the Lord hath forgotten me. In overflowing wrath I hid my face from thee for a moment; but with everlasting lovingkindness will I have mercy on thee, saith Jehovah thy Redeemer. And shall not God avenge his elect, that cry to him day and night, and (yet) he is longsuffering over them? I say unto you, that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?
