Look on every one that is proud, (and) bring him low; And tread down the wicked where they stand.
The burden of Moab. For in a night Ar of Moab is laid waste, (and) brought to nought; for in a night Kir of Moab is laid waste, (and) brought to nought.
But now Jehovah hath spoken, saying, Within three years, as the years of a hireling, the glory of Moab shall be brought into contempt, with all his great multitude; and the remnant shall be very small and of no account.
Behold, I have made thee (to be) a new sharp threshing instrument having teeth; thou shalt thresh the mountains, and beat them small, and shalt make the hills as chaff.
And they shall be as mighty men, treading down (their enemies) in the mire of the streets in the battle; and they shall fight, because Jehovah is with them; and the riders on horses shall be confounded.
