And Aaron and his sons thou shalt bring unto the door of the tent of meeting, and shalt wash them with water. Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, These are the living things which ye may eat among all the beasts that are on the earth. And whosoever beareth (aught) of the carcass of them shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even. And thus shalt thou do unto them, to cleanse them: sprinkle the water of expiation upon them, and let them cause a razor to pass over all their flesh, and let them wash their clothes, and cleanse themselves. Whosoever toucheth a dead person, the body of a man that hath died, and purifieth not himself, defileth the tabernacle of Jehovah; and that soul shall be cut off from Israel: because the water for impurity was not sprinkled upon him, he shall be unclean; his uncleanness is yet upon him. Ye leave the commandment of God, and hold fast the tradition of men. Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of a feast day or a new moon or a sabbath day: who hath been made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life: For there is a disannulling of a foregoing commandment because of its weakness and unprofitableness (for the law made nothing perfect), and a bringing in thereupon of a better hope, through which we draw nigh unto God. which also after a true likeness doth now save you, (even) baptism, not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the interrogation of a good conscience toward God, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ;
