Therefore he brought upon them the king of the Chaldeans, who slew their young men with the sword in the house of their sanctuary, and had no compassion upon young man or virgin, old man or hoary-headed: he gave them all into his hand.
And your altars shall become desolate, and your sun-images shall be broken; and I will cast down your slain men before your idols.
As for the beauty of his ornament, he set it in majesty; but they made the images of their abominations (and) their detestable things therein: therefore have I made it unto them as an unclean thing.
And I will give it into the hands of the strangers for a prey, and to the wicked of the earth for a spoil; and they shall profane it.
My face will I turn also from them, and they shall profane my secret (place); and robbers shall enter into it, and profane it.
