If thou at all take thy neighbor's garment to pledge, thou shalt restore it unto him before the sun goeth down: for that is his only covering, it is his garment for his skin: wherein shall he sleep? And it shall come to pass, when he crieth unto me, that I will hear; for I am gracious. And it shall be righteousness unto us, if we observe to do all this commandment before Jehovah our God, as he hath commanded us. They lie all night naked without clothing, And have no covering in the cold. If I have seen any perish for want of clothing, Or that the needy had no covering; If his loins have not blessed me, And if he hath not been warmed with the fleece of my sheep; He hath sent redemption unto his people; He hath commanded his covenant for ever: Holy and reverend is his name. if the wicked restore the pledge, give again that which he had taken by robbery, walk in the statutes of life, committing no iniquity; he shall surely live, he shall not die.
