And Jehovah saw (it), and abhorred (them), Because of the provocation of his sons and his daughters.
God is in the midst of her; She shall not be moved: God will help her, and that right early.
They asked, and he brought quails, And satisfied them with the bread of heaven.
Jehovah of hosts hath sworn by himself, (saying), Surely I will fill thee with men, as with the canker-worm; and they shall lift up a shout against thee.
And the sword shall fall upon their cities, and shall consume their bars, and devour (them), because of their own counsels.
For they know not to do right, saith Jehovah, who store up violence and robbery in their palaces.
Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: An adversary (there shall be), even round about the land; and he shall bring down thy strength from thee, and thy palaces shall be plundered.
