That be far from thee to do after this manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked, that so the righteous should be as the wicked. That be far from thee. Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right? Moreover thou shalt provide out of all the people able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating unjust gain; and place such over them, to be rulers of thousands, rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens: For Jehovah your God, he is God of gods, and Lord of lords, the great God, the mighty, and the terrible, who regardeth not persons, nor taketh reward. He doth execute justice for the fatherless and widow, and loveth the sojourner, in giving him food and raiment. And there hath not arisen a prophet since in Israel like unto Moses, whom Jehovah knew face to face, And Peter opened his mouth and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: for there is no respect of persons with God. What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid. But from those who were reputed to be somewhat (whatsoever they were, it maketh no matter to me: God accepteth not man's person)-- they, I say, who were of repute imparted nothing to me: And, ye masters, do the same things unto them, and forbear threatening: knowing that he who is both their Master and yours is in heaven, and there is no respect of persons with him. For he that doeth wrong shall receive again for the wrong that he hath done: and there is no respect of persons. And if ye call on him as Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to each man's work, pass the time of your sojourning in fear:
