And Jehovah will scatter you among the peoples, and ye shall be left few in number among the nations, whither Jehovah shall lead you away.
Whereas thou hast been forsaken and hated, so that no man passed through thee, I will make thee an eternal excellency, a joy of many generations.
Behold, the tempest of Jehovah, (even his) wrath, is gone forth, yea, a whirling tempest: it shall burst upon the head of the wicked.
And they shall know that I am Jehovah, when I shall disperse them among the nations, and scatter them through the countries.
and say unto the people of the land, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah concerning the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and the land of Israel: They shall eat their bread with fearfulness, and drink their water in dismay, that her land may be desolate, (and despoiled) of all that is therein, because of the violence of all them that dwell therein.
I have cut off nations; their battlements are desolate; I have made their streets waste, so that none passeth by; their cities are destroyed, so that there is no man, so that there is no inhabitant.
