And king Solomon made two hundred bucklers of beaten gold; six hundred (shekels) of gold went to one buckler. And (he made) three hundred shields of beaten gold; three pounds of gold went to one shield: and the king put them in the house of the forest of Lebanon. Thy head upon thee is like Carmel, And the hair of thy head like purple; The king is held captive in the tresses (thereof). This thy stature is like to a palm-tree, And thy breasts to its clusters. The men of Arvad with thine army were upon thy walls round about, and valorous men were in thy towers; they hanged their shields upon thy walls round about; they have perfected thy beauty. And thou, O tower of the flock, the hill of the daughter of Zion, unto thee shall it come, yea, the former dominion shall come, the kingdom of the daughter of Jerusalem.
