My beloved spake, and said unto me, Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away. Let us get up early to the vineyards; Let us see whether the vine hath budded, (And) its blossom is open, (And) the pomegranates are in flower: There will I give thee my love. Now from the fig tree learn her parable: when her branch is now become tender, and putteth forth its leaves, ye know that the summer is nigh; even so ye also, when ye see all these things, know ye that he is nigh, (even) at the doors. Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all these things be accomplished. And he spake to them a parable: Behold the fig tree, and all the trees: when they now shoot forth, ye see it and know of your own selves that the summer is now nigh. Even so ye also, when ye see these things coming to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh.
