But thou, O Jehovah, art a shield about me; My glory and the lifter up of my head.

Show thy marvellous lovingkindness, O thou that savest by thy right hand them that take refuge (in thee) From those that rise up (against them).
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: Thou hast anointed my head with oil; My cup runneth over.
For thus saith Jehovah concerning the house of the king of Judah: Thou art Gilead unto me, (and) the head of Lebanon; (yet) surely I will make thee a wilderness, (and) cities which are not inhabited.
