So they shall be made to stumble, their own tongue being against them: All that see them shall wag the head.
Wilt thou show wonders to the dead? Shall they that are decreased arise and praise thee? (Selah)
But murmured in their tents, And hearkened not unto the voice of Jehovah.
Therefore he sware unto them, That he would overthrow them in the wilderness,
And that he would overthrow their seed among the nations, And scatter them in the lands.
They joined themselves also unto Baal-peor, And ate the sacrifices of the dead.
Thus they provoked him to anger with their doings; And the plague brake in upon them.
Then stood up Phinehas, and executed judgment; And so the plague was stayed.
And that was reckoned unto him for righteousness, Unto all generations for evermore.
But if God doth so clothe the grass of the field, which to-day is, and to-morrow is cast into the oven, (shall he) not much more (clothe) you, O ye of little faith?
And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and took hold of him, and saith unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?
And Jesus perceiving it said, O ye of little faith, why reason ye among yourselves, because ye have no bread?
