Hold not thy peace, O God of my praise; I saw in the night-visions, and, behold, there came with the clouds of heaven one like unto a son of man, and he came even to the ancient of days, and they brought him near before him. The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, Till I put thine enemies underneath thy feet? and then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And then shall they see the Son of man coming in clouds with great power and glory. For David himself saith in the book of Psalms, The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. For David ascended not into the heavens: but he saith himself, The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and made him to sit at his right hand in the heavenly (places), If then ye were raised together with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated on the right hand of God. who being the effulgence of his glory, and the very image of his substance, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had made purification of sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; But of which of the angels hath he said at any time, Sit thou on my right hand, Till I make thine enemies the footstool of thy feet? but he, when he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God; looking unto Jesus the author and perfecter of (our) faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising shame, and hath sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Behold, he cometh with the clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they that pierced him; and all the tribes of the earth shall mourn over him. Even so, Amen. And I saw, and behold, a white cloud; and on the cloud (I saw) one sitting like unto a son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand sharp sickle.
