My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? (Why art thou so) far from helping me, (and from) the words of my groaning? O my God, I cry in the daytime, but thou answerest not; And in the night season, and am not silent. And my people shall abide in a peaceable habitation, and in safe dwellings, and in quiet resting-places. He will feed his flock like a shepherd, he will gather the lambs in his arm, and carry them in his bosom, (and) will gently lead those that have their young. Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: Yet again shall there be in this place, which is waste, without man and without beast, and in all the cities thereof, a habitation of shepherds causing their flocks to lie down. For in my holy mountain, in the mountain of the height of Israel, saith the Lord Jehovah, there shall all the house of Israel, all of them, serve me in the land: there will I accept them, and there will I require your offerings, and the first-fruits of your oblations, with all your holy things. Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: When I shall have gathered the house of Israel from the peoples among whom they are scattered, and shall be sanctified in them in the sight of the nations, then shall they dwell in their own land which I gave to my servant Jacob. And they shall dwell securely therein; yea, they shall build houses, and plant vineyards, and shall dwell securely, when I have executed judgments upon all those that do them despite round about them; and they shall know that I am Jehovah their God. I am the door; by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and go out, and shall find pasture.
