And these were they that went up from Tel-melah, Tel-harsha, Cherub, Addan, (and) Immer; but they could not show their fathers' houses, and their seed, whether they were of Israel:
These sought their register (among) those that were reckoned by genealogy, but they were not found: therefore were they deemed polluted and put from the priesthood.
And my God put into my heart to gather together the nobles, and the rulers, and the people, that they might be reckoned by genealogy. And I found the book of the genealogy of them that came up at the first, and I found written therein:
Because of thy temple at Jerusalem Kings shall bring presents unto thee.
Ye shall fall by the sword; I will judge you in the border of Israel; and ye shall know that I am Jehovah.
and ye shall know that I am Jehovah: for ye have not walked in my statutes, neither have ye executed mine ordinances, but have done after the ordinances of the nations that are round about you.
And it shall come to pass in that day, that the prophets shall be ashamed every one of his vision, when he prophesieth; neither shall they wear a hairy mantle to deceive:
