It is all one; therefore I say, He destroyeth the perfect and the wicked. Walk about Zion, and go round about her; Number the towers thereof; The wise man's eyes are in his head, and the fool walketh in darkness: and yet I perceived that one event happeneth to them all. Then said he unto me, This is the curse that goeth forth over the face of the whole land: for every one that stealeth shall be cut off on the one side according to it; and every one that sweareth shall be cut off on the other side according to it. Now there came a famine over all Egypt and Canaan, and great affliction: and our fathers found no sustenance. And when it was determined that we should sail for Italy, they delivered Paul and certain other prisoners to a centurion named Julius, of the Augustan band. And when neither sun nor stars shone upon (us) for many days, and no small tempest lay on (us,) all hope that we should be saved was now taken away.
