Yet I have set my king Upon my holy hill of Zion. I will tell of the decree: Jehovah said unto me, Thou art my son; This day have I begotten thee. Ask of me, and I will give (thee) the nations for thine inheritance, And the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession. Saying, God hath forsaken him: Pursue and take him; For there is none to deliver. Hold not thy peace, O God of my praise; For the mouth of the wicked and the mouth of deceit have they opened against me: They have spoken unto me with a lying tongue. And in the days of those kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed, nor shall the sovereignty thereof be left to another people; but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever. While the word was in the king's mouth, there fell a voice from heaven, (saying), O king Nebuchadnezzar, to thee it is spoken: The kingdom is departed from thee: and I will make that which was lame a remnant, and that which was cast far off a strong nation: and Jehovah will reign over them in mount Zion from henceforth even for ever. All things have been delivered unto me of my Father: and no one knoweth the Son, save the Father; neither doth any know the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son willeth to reveal (him.) And Jesus came to them and spake unto them, saying, All authority hath been given unto me in heaven and on earth. and he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end. For, He put all things in subjection under his feet. But when he saith, All things are put in subjection, it is evident that he is excepted who did subject all things unto him. and he put all things in subjection under his feet, and gave him to be head over all things to the church, Wherefore also God highly exalted him, and gave unto him the name which is above every name; that in the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of (things) in heaven and (things) on earth and (things) under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Wherefore, receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us have grace, whereby we may offer service well-pleasing to God with reverence and awe: And the seventh angel sounded; and there followed great voices in heaven, and they said, The kingdom of the world is become (the kingdom) of out Lord, and of his Christ: and he shall reign for ever and ever.
