Ye shall not afflict any widow, or fatherless child.
And thou shalt take no bribe: for a bribe blindeth them that have sight, and perverteth the words of the righteous.
They are waxed fat, they shine: yea, they overpass in deeds of wickedness; they plead not the cause, the cause of the fatherless, that they may prosper; and the right of the needy do they not judge.
All their wickedness is in Gilgal; for there I hated them: because of the wickedness of their doings I will drive them out of my house; I will love them no more; all their princes are revolters.
Their hands are upon that which is evil to do it diligently; the prince asketh, and the judge (is ready) for a reward; and the great man, he uttereth the evil desire of his soul: thus they weave it together.
and oppress not the widow, nor the fatherless, the sojourner, nor the poor; and let none of you devise evil against his brother in your heart.
