And every one had four faces: the first face was the face of the cherub, and the second face was the face of a man, and the third face the face of a lion, and the fourth the face of an eagle. so that there was the face of a man toward the palm-tree on the one side, and the face of a young lion toward the palm-tree on the other side: (thus was it) made through all the house round about. And the first creature (was) like a lion, and the second creature like a calf, and the third creature had a face as of a man, and the fourth creature (was) like a flying eagle.
